At Island Bounce Party Rentals, LLC, we believe every child and family deserves the chance to have fun in a safe and supportive environment. We are committed to making our inflatable bounce houses and water slides as accessible and enjoyable as possible for guests with special needs.

✅ Before the Event

1. Let Us Know in Advance
If someone in your group has mobility, sensory, behavioral, or medical needs, please inform us when booking. We’ll work with you to select the safest setup and most appropriate inflatable.

2. Plan for Supervision
An adult or caregiver should closely supervise the participant at all times. We recommend one-on-one support if the individual needs help entering, exiting, or navigating the inflatable.

3. Talk to Your Doctor
If the individual has physical or medical conditions (seizures, cardiac issues, joint problems, etc.), consult a healthcare provider to determine if inflatable activities are safe.

🧠 Guidance for Specific Needs

Sensory Sensitivities

  • Choose quieter times of day for play.

  • Consider noise-reducing headphones if needed.

  • Some children may prefer bounce houses over waterslides due to less water stimulation.

  • ​

Mobility Challenges

  • Participants must be able to enter and exit independently or with limited assistance.

  • For water slides, be cautious with wet surfaces and climbing areas.

  • We’ll set up equipment on the flattest, most stable area available.

  • ​

Developmental or Behavioral Disabilities

  • Allow extra time to familiarize the participant with the inflatable.

  • Visual or social stories may help prepare them for the experience.

  • Supervision should be calm, encouraging, and supportive.

⚠️ Important Safety Reminders

​

  • All participants must follow the same safety rules (no rough play, proper entrance/exit, no head-first sliding, etc.).

  • Our inflatables are designed for general use. We cannot modify the structures, but we can adjust the setup and supervision based on individual needs.

  • If at any point a participant becomes overwhelmed or uncomfortable, remove them from the inflatable immediately.
